1st of Zurkah 363 IV
A large group of Ortherns attacked a Northman settlement outside of Ulvhavn today. They left none alive, plundering and pillaging the village on everything of value. The smallest of children were taken, probably as food.
When the news reached Arngeir Eirikurson, King of Ulvhavn, a troop was immediatly sent after the Ortherns. A blizzard had covered their tracks by the time the pillaged settlement was reached. However, trained hounds were able to pick the trail up and lead the warriors to the foe who had set camp some four hours distance to the west. A fierce battle followed, in which the Ortherns were finally defeated. Their leader's head was brought to King Arngeir, who impaled it above Ulvhavn's main gate.
