It has always been tricky to set up times when to meet ingame, since there are players from around the world.
Thus, when planning on quests, gatherings or such, please use UTC (or GMT/Zulu)-time. The following page here gives a good overview. There you can find your own time, as well as UTC time.

Example: A quest is set to begin 8 pm UTC time. I would then visit the webpage and check time UTC time vs New York time, noticing that there's a 5 hour difference. The quest would in other words begin at 3 pm New York time.
It is important to check the times now and then due to variations in time in certain countries during winter/summer.
A good idea is to include your time-zone as your signature, such as mine:
"UTC (GMT/Zulu)-time +1" |
