Deeds as unusual as half-a-dozen slaves being stolen have occured in Bardum. Someone has apparently sneaked in during nighttime and vanished with them. All occurances have in common that the slaves have all been of Necharamian descent, and not Cadumbian, and that they have been held under especially cruel circumstances.
Their owners are outraged, since stolen slaves are nearly unheard of and they hold no value on the black market in Bardum. Leaguers at the gates have now been asked (and bribed) to keep an eye on suspicous persons leaving the city.
Rumours on the streets claim that a new champion has risen, probably a former slave who is set on freeing all those in captivity. Emir Magash has promised an extravagant execution when this champion is caught - if he exists. |
