Fightning Techniques
A character picking the Weapon Finesse Feat in Charun is considered mastering two fighting techniques.
Finesse Fighting
- When using Light Weapons, the character uses his Dexterity to determine Attack Bonus, rather than his Strength.
Precission Fighting
- When using weapons suitable for the techique, the character can try and strike at unarmoured parts of the body, or at weak spots found in the armour, thus bypassing armour damage reduction.
A light weapon is not necessarily a precission weapon, nor the opposite.
- A dagger is found in both categories, meaning that both fighting techniques are used simultaneously. In other words, a character uses his Dexterity bonus when attacking, and a successful attack can bypass armour DR.
- A spear is only found in the precission weapon category. Therefore one can not use Dexterity to attack with it - it is simply too heavy. It is a precission weapon though, and a successful attack can bypass armour DR.
- A mace is only found among the light weapons, meaning that it can not be used for precission fighting. It's light weight makes it ideal for finesse fighting though, and therefore one can use Dexterity instead of Strength when attacking.

Finesse Fighting Weapons
The weapons considered to be light enough to be used with the finesse fighting technique are found in the following categories:
Bladed | All Daggers
Blunt | All Maces
Bladed | Other | All Sickles
Blunt | All (light) Hammers
Axes | All Hatchets
Bladed | Other | All Kukri
Bladed | All Short Swords
Precission Fighting Weapons
The following weapons are suitable to be used in combination with the Weapon Finesse Feat in trying to bypass armour DR. They are all slender-bladed, easily wielded and piercing - and thus suitable for striking with precission towards unarmoured parts of the body, or weak spots in the armour.
